Central Carolina Community Foundation offers many different types of grants to build and sustain the Midlands community, including our most popular Community and Organizational Impact Grants. You will find all of the necessary information about each type of grant in their respective section including deadlines, criteria, etc.

Community Impact Grants fund programs that serve the community through programmatic services.
Organizational Impact Grants address local nonprofit needs by increasing organizational capacity (e.g., grants may augment administrative infrastructure through aiding board development, creating a fundraising plan, providing computer hardware or software, etc.).
Mini grants used for organizational capacity building, Nonprofit Management Grants may be used to attend conferences, host training, or other management needs.
Affiliate Funds award grants within their own local communities. We currently have three affiliates awarding grants in Kershaw, Sumter, and Orangeburg and Calhoun counties.
Target Area Grants are based on the findings in Facing Facts:A Study of Issues That Shape Our Region and are solicited at the discretion of the Community Foundation's Distribution Committee.
Knight Foundation Donor Advised Fund Grants are awarded throughout the year to organizations in Richland County that meet the criteria of their six priority focus areas.
The Academy of Columbia was formed as a donor advised fund to disburse grants that leverage schools and educational programs throughout Richland District One.
The Arts, Education, and Environment Committee of Women in Philanthropy accepts proposals for programs in Richland and Lexington counties that engage at-risk youth, with an emphasis on women and girls, ages 12-17.
Hootie & The Blowfish Foundation benefits children of South Carolina through education and music programs. Darius Rucker, Jim "Soni" Sonefield, Dean Felber and Mark Bryan have embraced their fortuitous career with the community that supports them.
