Organizational Impact Grants

Organizational Impact Grants address local nonprofit needs for increasing management capacity to sustain long-term success and growth. The maximum request amount is $10,000. 

The grantmaking process for Organizational Impact Grants is a two-phase,
bi-annual process.  Deadlines for Phase One are February 15 and August 15 of each year.  Deadlines for Phase Two are April 15 and October 15 of each year.  If either of the deadline dates fall on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, the materials are due by 5:00 p.m. on the following business day.

Grants from February 2008 Cycle

Carolina Children's Home received $7,382 for a network upgrade, to include 
installing and converting its accounting software and hiring a consultant to train staff on the new system.

Free Medical Clinic of Newberry
 received $9,000 to purchase scheduling software to obtain office and management efficiencies while maintaining patient demographic data essential to their abilitiy to secure sustainable funding.  

The Women's Shelter received $9,692 for the development and printing of 4,000 brochures and the development of an interactive Web site allowing volunteers to apply online, supporters to donate online, and providing each staff member with an e-mail address.
