Since inception, Central Carolina Community Foundation awarded more than $145 million in grants and scholarships in the Midlands and beyond.
In addition to our discretionary funds, we manage the grant processes for several other entities, including our four regional affiliate organizations, and facilitate charitable giving on behalf of our donor advisors. Our service area includes the following 11-counties in the Midlands: Calhoun, Clarendon, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lee, Lexington, Newberry, Orangeburg, Richland, Saluda and Sumter.
Aflac - This grant focuses on supporting organizations with a local, rather than a national or international, perspective.
Connected Communities Grants - The majority of our dicretionary grants come from our Connected Communities grant program.
Greater Chapin Community Endowment - These grants are available to nonprofits that serve the Greater Chapin area.
Community Foundation for Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties - These grants are available to nonprofits that serve Orangeburg and/or Calhoun counties.
Sumter Community Foundation - These grants are available to nonprofits that serve Sumter County.
Hootie & The Blowfish Foundation - These grants benefits children of South Carolina through education and music programs.
Knight Foundation Advised Fund - These grants focus on fostering an informed, engaged Columbia.
Lynches River Conservation - These grants support projects that improve the water quality and ecological integrity of the Lynches River watershed.
Sonoco Foundation - These grants are available to nonprofit organizations serving Darlington and/or Florence counties.
One SC Fund - This fund provides grants to fund disaster relief and recovery assistance programs provided by nonprofit organizations throughout South Carolina
